Looking at the Arafah scene reminded me of a beautiful quote from the words of Lady Evelyn Cobbold , an Englishwoman who perform hajj in 1934 :
To describe the Wuquf in Arafah , she quoted “ It would require a master pen to describe the scene.. , poignant in its intensity, of that great concourse of humanity of which I was one small unit, completely lost to their surroundings a in a fervor of religious enthusiasm”.
And to describe the night in Mudzalifah, " Your night stay in Mudzalifah will certainly make up for anything that you may have complained about. If the 5 star accomodation you were promised did not eventuate, or even the 2 star place, here in Mudzalifah you will have as many stars as you like , when you lay down on the ground looking towards the sky and counting the stars as all pilgrims spend the night in the open in Mudzalifah.." shared by Abu Muneer Ismail Davids in his book 'Getting The Best Out of Hajj'.
Thanks for sharing such beautiful scenes, Hajj indeed is a journey of hearts. K.Fid
Hajj is mandatory on every Muslim who can go. Umrah is optional and a plus... they have different practices and things to do... Hajj can only be performed during a specific period of year while Umrah can be performed any time and many times a year. Umrah packages 2013
