It’s Totally Ridiculous!!

Assalamu’alaikum, may peace be upon you.

I was really flabbergasted to know how the Israeli forces have attacked the humanitarian convoy called life line4gaza yesterday. For those who do not anything about this issue, a convoy of humanitarian activists and civilians were initiated this month aimed to break the Israeli’s siege on Gaza. The convoy representatives came from the UK, Ireland, Algeria, Kuwait, Greece, Malaysia and Turkey, and were comprised of about 700 people from 50 nationalities. To be exact, it comprises both Muslims and non Muslims. Yesterday, a flotilla called Mavi Marmara was attacked by the Israeli forces and as a result 19 people were killed and dozens injured when troops intercepted the convoy of ships dubbed the Freedom Flotilla. This is totally too much!
Insya’Allah, together we pray for their safeties if that is the least that we can do. It is totally ridiculous to attack people who are coming to give humanitarian aid for those who need them. I really don’t know what to say when Avital Leibovich, an Israeli military spokeswoman, confirmed that the attack took place in international waters, saying(as quoted in al Jazeera): "This happened in waters outside of Israeli territory, but we have the right to defend ourselves." Oh My God. YOU GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! Defend yourself???. Are you lack of common sense Mr. Leibovich??I am really pissed off to know such a stupid and silly statement. The issue of Palestine and Gaza is surely not a Muslims issue only, rather it concerns about HUMANITY, about human being, about people who have the same attributes like us. May Allah make it easy for the convoy..ameen.

Thank you for posting this, I did not know about this. I agree that it is truly ridiculous. But we must keep in mind that it is not all Israelis' fault, it is truly the Israeli army's shortcomings. I pray that we can find peace between Palestine and Israel. Whenever I hear more news about the conflict, I can't help but think of the reason why this is happening: after WWII the UN partitioned Palestine, so Jews could have a home state of Israel after two thousand years of dispersal. Starting in 1947 until today, Arabs and Jews have been fighting. Thus, it all comes down to land ownership. I feel bad for both sides because it is not the fault of either side that they are in this mess. The UN screwed everything. Have they even admitted that yet? Don't think so.

Firstly, thank you so much Brittany for dropping by. I'm so happy you did. at least you know what is the update of the news is ^_^

Yes, you have a point there. of course.i won't say that it's the Israeli civilians' fault.those who are in the authority should be responsible for this infringement of human rights. To attack people who are trying to give aid to another human being would be something which deservs to be abhorred. what more, in denying those people to receive the aid that they are very much needed.are they lack of conscience and mercy for their fellow human beings? I really hope they know the answer though I hve doubt they have it at the first place.

Yes, the least that we can do is to pray so that they can live peacefully.Hopefully, we may spread the word that the issue of Palestine is truly not a religious one. It is surely an issue that concerns humanity irrespective of what religion or what believe that you have.It concerns all of us- you, me and WE.
